Pioneer of the all-inclusive concept, Club
Med, has announced the development of the first Club Med property in the
Middle East, Club Med Musandam, a luxurious beach resort set to open in 2028 in
Oman.
The 300-room, Exclusive Collection resort will incorporate
the culture of Oman in its design, entertainment, food and beverage, and
provide guests with access to a private beach with incredible scenery.
Situated on the Arabian Peninsula overlooking the Persian
Gulf and panoramic Hajar Mountains, Musandam has earned the nickname The
Norway of Arabia, for having the worlds only desert fjords.
Club Med Musandam will include all the amenities that Club
Med guests have come to expectgourmet dining, kids clubs, wellness
experiences, an adults-only area, a spa, an array of land and water sportsplus
the hassle-free convenience of an all-inclusive vacation. The resort is only a
5-minute boat ride from Khasab city and 2.5 hours from Dubai International
Airport, making it an attractive destination for both local and international
travelers.
The history and success of Club Med lies in its pioneer
approach, strongly contributing to the development
of regions and areas where it has been implemented. The project of Club Med
Musandam is a key milestone as it is our first presence in the Gulf States said

Developed with an investment of over $100 million, the
resort marks the sixth property in Club Meds luxurious Exclusive Collectiona
portfolio of 5-star resorts, spaces, a legendary French sailing yacht, villas
and chalets.
The project is a collaboration between Club Med, Royal Court
Affairs and Omran Group developers. Club Med commits to eco-certifying the
construction of Club Med Musandam and all its new resorts with BREEAM, an
internationally recognized certification body and adhering to Green Globe
standards of sustainable tourism management, such as waste reduction and the
minimization of single-use plastics.?
This collaboration with Club Med is an important step that
is in line with the objective of Omran vision 2040 aiming at bringing 11
million tourists to Oman to boost the inflow of international tourists to the
Sultanate says H.E. Mr. Salim bin Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage
and Tourism.
