Hotels with club level accommodations can elevate a good
stay into a great one—simply on account of the added amenities and attention
the hotels provide to their club level guests. Club level accommodations
typically offer upgraded furnishings, a private, key-access floor, a lounge
with food and beverage presentations, and dedicated concierge staff to arrange
activities.
In Hawai’i, the brands often take it up a notch, offering
lounges with sweeping views, impressive spreads of local foods, and even
cultural activities or live music.?
In Hawai'i, however, it can also be confusing to determine
which hotels offer the amenity—particularly among resorts belonging to global
hospitality brands. Several hotel brands known for club level accommodations at
properties outside Hawai’i—like Sheraton—may not offer them at their Hawai’i
resorts. Conversely, brands that don't typically provide club levels may offer
them in Hawai’i, but not at every property.?
Hotels offering Club Level accommodations particularly
abound on O’ahu and Maui, while they were a bit thinner on the ground on Kaua’i
and the Island of Hawai’i. The two resort properties on Lana’i are luxury oases
unto themselves and do not operate a separate club floor; Molokai’s sole hotel
property similarly does not have this amenity.?

coveted amenity, categorized by island.?
Kauai Hotels with Club Level
Club Level accommodations aren’t common at Kaua’i hotels. A
notable exception is the Grand
Hyatt Kauai, which offers a room category with access to the Grand Club,
which provides snacks and drinks throughout the day, continental breakfast in
the morning, drinks and appetizers in the early evening, and desserts after
dinner.?

Hyatt
Regency Waikiki also offers club level accommodations, with access to the
Regency Club. Here, guests will find snacks and drinks, morning continental
breakfast, evening appetizers and drinks, and after-dinner desserts.?
The Ritz-Carlton has two properties on O’ahu: The
Ritz-Carlton Residences in Waikiki, which does not have a club level, and The
Ritz-Carlton O’ahu, Turtle Bay, which does operate a private Club Lounge.
Available only to guests booking club level accommodations, the lounge includes
private check-in and check-out, plus concierge services. There are also five
daily food and beverage presentations: breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, evening
hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and cordials, as well as snacks available throughout
the day.?
Alohilani Resort's
Longboard Club has indoor and outdoor seating, an a?aí breakfast bar, evening
hors d'oeuvres and drinks with cheese and crudité, and a made-to-order pasta
bar. Guests can either purchase a room rate that includes club access or pay a
supplement at check-in.?
All the rooms at Prince Waikiki
have ocean views, but their Club Level rooms have upgraded amenities. Club
Level rooms also include daily buffet breakfast at 100 Sails Restaurant &
Bar, or breakfast is also available in the Prince Waikiki Club, with an outdoor
terrace with views of Ala Wai Boat Harbor. In addition to breakfast, afternoon
snacks, chilled beverages, including beer and wine, an evening dinner
presentation, and concierge services are available.
At Outrigger
Waikiki Beach Resort and Outrigger
Reef Waikiki Beach Resort, there's the Voyager 47 Club Lounge, open in the
mornings for Hawaiian-style breakfasts with Kona coffee and in the early
evening for island-style pupus (appetizers). Club rooms are a specific
bookable category, with room types ranging from city views to multi-room
oceanfront suites. At Outrigger Reef, the 47 Club Lounge also has an expansive
outdoor lanai; lounges at both properties offer oceanfront views overlooking
Waikiki Beach.?

hotel’s Hale Mo’olelo restaurant. The Lānai also offers exclusive Hawaiian
cultural activities like Lei Po’o Making, Ulana Niu/Coconut Weaving, and
Hawaiian musical artist performances.
The Hyatt
Regency Maui Resort & Spa, similarly to the Grand Hyatt and Hyatt
Regency properties on neighboring islands, offers a Regency Club with daily
breakfast, all-day snacks, and evening hors d'oeuvres. Regency Club access is
available by booking a club-access rate or adding club access to a stay once on
the property.?
Club Level accommodations are rare at Four Seasons Hotels
& Resorts (none of the other Four Seasons properties in Hawai’i have one),
but at the Four
Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea, it occupies the top floor of the resort
building. The Club Lounge is also on the private, keyed-off floor, offering
four food and beverage presentations each day, and a dedicated concierge.
Guests booking club level accommodations also receive a $100 credit to use at
specific boutiques and experiences on-property.?
The Grand
Wailea, Maui, a Waldorf Astoria Resort, has Club Level accommodations
called Napua, a collection of rooms and suites in an exclusive space on the
upper floors of the sprawling resort building—think marble bathrooms and
solid-teak furniture on the lanais. The 8th Floor Napua Lounge
offers food and beverage presentations throughout the day, from breakfast
through (early evening) hors d'oeuvres, cocktails, and desserts. The Lounge
also hosts a dedicated concierge, periodic live entertainment and rotating
chef's stations.?

Voyager 47 Club Lounge, which offers morning breakfast and early evening pupus
and cocktails. Club accommodations also include nightly turndown service,
free WiFi and valet parking, and upgraded bath amenities.?
