Hilton Hotels & Resorts has assumed operational control of the former Radisson Aruba hotel, re-launching the property Wednesday as the Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino, the company announced in a statement.

The 355-room hotel on Aruba's Palm Beach is owned by Aruba Growth Fund, an organization representing the country's main pension funds, said Hilton Aruba officials. Terms of the property's purchase were not released. The hotel will be managed by Hilton Worldwide, parent company of Hilton Hotels & Resorts.

Designed by famed resort architect Morris Lapidus, the hotel features a large pool complex, a children's club, a water sports and dive center, a spa, a casino and multiple dining options.
