At Hyatt Zilara Cancun, health and wellness have been elevated to an entirely new level.
Evidence of that can be seen at every turn at the all-inclusive Cancun resort.
Just last month Hyatt Zilara opened a massive, new three-story spa featuring state-of-the-art facilities. The spa opening follows on the heels of yet another exciting health-oriented project, a new fitness facility, which was completed in 2017.
Droolworthy details of the new Zen Spa include a relaxation lounge located on the building's terrace, hydrotherapy facilities, private couples' treatment suites and even a VIP presidential spa suite.
The spa's architecture meanwhile draws inspiration from the Four Cardinal Directions - east, north, west and south, which are key elements of Mayan cosmology.
Taking those Mayan influences one step further, spa treatment options include such choices as the Tzolkin Mayan Ritual. As for what the ritual involves - think massage designed to unlock your body's energy points and release an orderly flow of energy. Depending on the energy points that are blocked, the massage can help relax the body, improve circulation, eliminate toxins, soothe muscle pain, release endorphins and improve mood.
The Tzolkin Mayan Ritual is just one of many unique wellness opportunities at the new spa."Hyatt Zilara Cancun's new Zen Spa features state-of-the-art facilities including everything from an eight-step hydrotherapy circuit to an alchemy workshop to create your own products," said Paola Gomez, director of sales at Hyatt Zilara Cancun. "The three-story spa experience is not one to be missed."
The interactive workspace within Zen Spa where guests are invited to create their own products is Alquimia, an area where visitors can make potions and blends using natural herbs and essential oils.
Guests are also able to learn about a variety of health and wellness topics (shamanic cleansing, meditation, sleeping well, stress relief, nutrition and skincare) through a series of workshops and classes at the spa.
In between being pampered at the spa and relaxing at the beach, Hyatt Zilara guests can also take part in fitness opportunities at the resort's stunning Sky Gym. The new facility combines outstanding ocean views with top of the line fitness equipment, making working out a pleasure.
One of the most unforgettable elements of this facility is a cascading, two-lane, roof deck infinity lap pool that showcases panoramic views of the adjacent bay.
There's also cutting-edge fitness equipment including summit and strength training machines, cardio machines and a fully-equipped Scot Pilates room. The ultra-modern space is highlighted by floor to ceiling glass walls creating an illusion of being outdoors, while in the comfort of an air-conditioned, climate-controlled facility.
For those guests who need even more help relaxing, there are Ashtanga Yoga and Aqua Zumba classes at Sky Gym, just two examples of broad selection of group fitness offerings.
The center is fully accessible to all hotel guests and equipped with lockers, changing rooms and even rain showers. There's also a juice station featuring healthy, post-workout snacks and juices made from local ingredients.
If all of that isn't enough, the gym showcases some of the best sunrises and sunsets in the region, making the Sky Gym, like the new spa, an experience not to miss.
Guests who book an all-inclusive stay at adults-only Hyatt Zilara now can save up to 55% and receive $200 in resort coupons that are valid for the spa, wine, or cabana credit.
