As part of its commitment to social responsibility and mutual and inclusive respect for all, Hodelpa Hotels has launched a training program for its associates, focused on the dignified treatment of people with disabilities from a rights-based perspective, in collaboration with the National Disability Council (CONADIS). This initiative aims to raise awareness and guide staff on the importance of providing an inclusive and respectful service in all their daily interactions.
The primary goal of this training is to equip employees with the necessary tools to ensure appropriate treatment of people with disabilities, fostering an environment of respect and equality across all areas of the hotel chain. The training content covers the historical evolution of disability, the use of appropriate terminology, recommendations for respectful interaction, and a brief introduction to sign language. Additionally, it serves as a prelude to the companys sign language program.
"Exceptional service for all people is a fundamental value at Hodelpa. We believe in the importance of preparing our team to provide an optimal and respectful experience for all our guests and visitors, regardless of their conditions," said Yeine Durn, Sustainability Manager.
Through this initiative, Hodelpa Hotels reaffirms its commitment to creating more accessible and inclusive spaces, promoting a culture of respect and equity that benefits the entire community.?
