Hyatt Hotels Corporation has entered into an agreement with Inmobiliaria Canels, SA de CV and GACO&BA to expand the Hyatt Centric lifestyle brand into the colonial town of Querétaro, located near the city’s UNESCO World Heritage zone.?
The Hyatt Centric Querétaro will open in 2025 as the second Hyatt Centric-branded hotel in Mexico, the first being the Hyatt Centric Campestre León in León, Guanajuato. It's part of Hyatt's record development pipeline, which began ramping up last year.?
The hotel will feature three stories, with 105 rooms and suites, a ballroom, meeting and event spaces, several food and beverage outlets, a fitness center and rooftop pool, all inspired by the surrounding colonial architecture.?
Hyatt Centric Querétaro will also offer the Pineda Covalin boutique, a renowned Mexican fashion brand. Three restaurants and two bar concepts will offer guests a full range of breakfast, lunch and dinner experiences, including the Carmencita Cafe and Carmencita Terrace. The Speakeasy will be open for lunch and dinner, with shared plates and cocktails.?
The hotel’s location is within walking distance to the Querétaro’s Centro Histórico, home to over 1,000 historical monuments, with local markets, plazas and more. Querétaro is the capital of the Mexican state of the same name.?
