The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) welcomed The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts into its membership program, joining some of the worlds most influential hotel groups to support the travel and tourism industrys sustainable growth and economic impact.?
The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts offers twelve luxurious properties in India, and began in 1986. The brand was rated the Worlds Best Hotel Brand by Travel + Leisure for two consecutive years and continues to rank amongst the top three globally. Some of the properties are also members of Preferred Hotels & Resorts' prestigious Legend Collection.?

According to recent WTTC economic data, Indias tourism economy is expected to invest 10 percent more money this year than in years past, joining other G20 countries such as France, Germany and Japan in their own tourism growth.
