The Bluegrass region is well-known for distinctly American music as well as distinctly American liquor.
The hotels are pretty notable, too, whether they're brand new constructions like the Westin in Nashville or tried-and-true southern favorites like The Peabody and The Brown.
Whether your fancy draws you to the Grand Ole Opry or the Kentucky Derby, I've collected several hotel packages that feature the best of what the region has to offer both visitors and staycationers.
See and "B" Scene in Nashville
The brand-new Westin Nashville is already making its mark on Music City.
With a soaring, polished stone lobby and plenty of places to relax with a beverage while taking in the city's famous skyline, one of the brand's newest properties is ready to welcome guests after a day of revels in this hallowed arena of American music. Notables include a lavish spa and two signature restaurants, as well as the highest rooftop bar in the city.
Weekenders can take advantage of value adds with the hotel's See and B Scene experience, which includes a tour of RCA's historic Studio B-the recording site for artists such as Elvis Presley and Dolly Parton-followed by access to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. To unwind at the end of the day, the package includes exclusive champagne service at the hotel's L27 Rooftop Bar.
Package rates are available starting from $614 (the exclusions are valued at around $230 on their own).

Get to Know Jack at the Peabody
Elsewhere in the Volunteer State, The Peabody Memphis is as famous a grand hotel as any in the South. Perhaps most memorable are the hotel's longtime resident ducks, who live in a house on the roof and ride the elevator to the lobby. They then march to the fountain for an afternoon swim each day.
(And no, you won't find duck on the menu anywhere in the hotel.)
Whiskey lovers can partake in one of Tennessee's most beloved exports with the You Don't Know Jack Package. It includes a commemorative bottle of Peabody Select Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Tennessee Whiskey, a Jack Daniel's cocktail and appetizer in The Peabody Corner Bar, internet access and self-parking. Package rates start at $299.

Partake in Bourbon and The Brown in Louisville
Kentucky is another southern local known for barrel-aged spirits distilled from mash; 95 percent of the world's bourbon is produced here.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the gracious Georgian Revival structure occupied by the acclaimed Brown Hotel is Louisville's destination for the Bluegrass State's favorite tipple, as well as the hotel's signature dish: The Hot Brown, a local take on the Welsh Rarebit.
The hotel's Bourbon and The Brown Package includes overnight accommodations, a Bourbon flight for two, Hot Brown for two, gift box of four bourbon balls and valet parking. Package rates start at $314 plus taxes for May weekend dates.
