The American Society of Travel Advisors is welcoming more than 1,600 United States-based travel advisors and suppliers to its ASTA River Cruise Expo in Vienna this week.?
The popular event is now in its fourth year. When it launched in 2022, it drew 672 attendees and seven ships. Now, it has grown to more than 1,600 attendees and 16 ships from 10 river cruise brands.
This week, participants will have a chance to connect with river cruise executives and sales leaders, meet more than 100 exhibitors during the trade show and learn about the latest innovations in river cruising. ?
The river cruise lines participating this year are: Amadeus, AmaWaterways, Avalon Waterways, Riverside Luxury Cruises, Riviera Travel, Scenic Group, Tauck, Uniworld Boutique River Cruises and Viking. Many attendees are staying onboard river cruise ships that sailed to Vienna specifically for the event.
