The Empire State Building experience is now getting a boost from your phone.
Officials have unveiled the landmark's very own smartphone app that you can get for free on Google Play or iOS.
And it also goes well with the free Wi-Fi that is being offered to tourists who embark upon the beloved Manhattan building.
Normally you would queue up to experience the observation decks and have to lug around a device given to you by staff if you wanted to follow along on an audio tour.
That's all been streamlined now with the addition of an app that acts as your tour guide as you roam the upper echelons of the New York skyline.
So it would be wise to download the app before you head on out to enjoy the massive structure.
If not, no worries because there is free Wi-Fi to solve that very specific travel conundrum.
Anthony E. Malkin, Chairman and CEO of Empire State Realty Trust, Inc., offered thoughts on the new tech: "We are expanding upon the already unforgettable experience of visiting our world-famous Observatory by offering our millions of visitors from around the world access to our audio tour through their personal devices and free Wi-Fi."
Through the app you get the obvious audio chapters designated for the tour, so you can play along right now even if you are far from the Empire State Building.

There are also some other options available such as trivia, various video and gallery offerings and a quiz for the tourists who would like to test their knowledge.
As noted, the app is made available in nine languages: "English, Spanish, French, Italian, Mandarin, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and German."
Thankfully, with lines getting ridiculously long at this attraction, you will have plenty of time to fiddle with this new toy.
