Spending the holiday season in New York City is an experience unlike any other as The City That Never Sleeps becomes a magical, urban winter wonderland.
Store displays transform into incredible illuminated works of art, boring lawns convert into sparkling ice rinks, and glittering Christmas trees, wreaths and garlands can be found along the streets and within parks and squares.
It's a season where traditions are made. Think: Radio City Christmas Spectacular featuring the Rockettes, Broadway shows, holiday lighting ceremonies and boutique shopping at holiday pop-up markets.
For those of you that weren't able to celebrate Thanksgiving in the Big Apple, plan on it next year! The famed Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade wowed millions of people yet again with its massive roster of favorite character floats, including Snoopy and Charlie Brown and special celebrity appearances that included Jimmy Fallon.
Prior to the parade itself, New York City Vacation Packages was busier than ever.
The New York City-focused tour company hosted more than 19 bus tours to check out the behind-the-scenes balloon inflation site and holiday lights tours, in addition to putting together unforgettable turkey feasts for over 550 guests. Moreover, on Thanksgiving NYCVP hosted 1,200 guests at Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade parties.
The very next week, New York City Vacation Packages threw a party in the heart of Rockefeller Center to view the lighting of the stunning Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree. 300 guests came to indulge in hors-d'oeuvres and cocktails at the charming Brasserie Ruhlmann, just steps away from one of the country's most iconic Christmas trees.
The next big event? New Year's Eve, of course!
The whole world knows that New York City goes big for New Year's Eve, so if you don't have plans yet, get your tickets now to the Times Square Ball Drop Gala.
It's true: Most people include watching the ball drop in NYC on their bucket list. But, realistically, who wants to stand in the freezing cold, stuck shoulder-to-shoulder with strangers? No one.
Instead of fighting the crowds, picture yourself towering 23 stories above the millions of Times Square revelers, enjoying an open bar, hors-d'oeuvres, buffet stations, desserts, DJ dance music and an unbeatable view of all the action.
The location? Convene, a facility that boasts windows wrapping on all four sides, offering unparalleled views of Times Square, up and down both Broadway and 7th Avenue.
Come midnight, Gala guests can expect unobstructed views for the ball drop, stunning fireworks, plenty of confetti and a whole night of dancing and partying to ring in 2018.
