Weather is a significant consideration when planning a vacation.
Will it be warm enough?
Will it be rainy...snowy??
Will there be enough snow?
Depending on what youre after on vacation, weather can make or break the experience.
For those who do not enjoy rain putting a damper on a long-planned getaway, JetBlue Vacations has come up with a solution (or at least an offer that can take the sting out of a vacation ruined by heavy rain).
The company announced today that it is partnering with WeatherPromise to help travelers safeguard trips against excessive rain, which is apparently one of the most common vacation concerns, according to the experts at JetBlue Vacations.
The partnership between JetBlue Vacations and WeatherPromise will offer a first-of-its-kind coverage that allows customers who book their trip through JetBlue Vacations to be reimbursed for significant rainfall during their getaway.
The goal of the offer is to relieve traveler worries that bad weather will cost them their trip.

Travel should be exciting, not stressful, and our partnership with WeatherPromise is another way were making that a reality, Jamie Perry, president, JetBlue Travel Products, said in a statement.
We know how important vacations are, and by offering coverage against weather disruptions, were ensuring our customers can focus on enjoying their trips with confidence and peace of mind, added Perry.
JetBlue customers booking eligible flight and hotel vacation packages can receive protection for all trip components, including car rentals and activities, when reserved through JetBlue Vacations at the time of purchase.
Meanwhile, WeatherPromise will determine what constitutes excessive rain based on destination, trip length and historical weather data.
If rainfall meets the qualifying threshold, customers are automatically reimbursed with no paperwork needed, according to the announcement from JetBlue Vacations.
WeatherPromise will use millions of data points to assess each trip and weather conditions will be continually monitored using satellite imagery, weather stations and radar to ensure an accurate, real-time evaluation at the travel destination.
The new weather protection product will be provided and managed by WeatherPromise. For more information visit jetbluevacations.com or call 1-844-JB-VACAY.
