A musical mecca that is also home to barbecue royalty? It could only be Memphis. Walk down Beale Street, visit Graceland and feast on ribs, but then also turn your attention to more important matters by learning about the struggles of the past and present at the National Civil Rights Museum. The city also looks set to host its usual myriad of food, art and music festivals in 2022, too.

Long overshadowed by that Mile High City a few miles up the road, The "Olympic City" is quickly becoming a top-tier destination in its own right.
