You don't have to travel to Ireland this March to celebrate the spirit of St. Patrick's Day. In fact, you don't even need a passport as the U.S. is home to a handful of iconic party streets sure to feature plenty of drinks, music, dancing and good times.

Nashville's Lower Broadway is a year-round party as visitors flock to knock a few drinks back and vibe out at the Music City's iconic honky-tonks and bars but the tourist hotspot buzzes even louder come St. Patrick's Day when holiday revelers come together to sip green beer, participate in bar crawls, jam out to live music and more.

Elsewhere in Tennessee, Memphis' historic Beale Street will come to life in mid-March with the free to the public 47th Annual Silky O'Sullivan St. Patrick's Day Parade featuring live bands, cars, dancers, floats and much more. Afterward, visitors can stick around to keep the party going inside of Beale Street's legendary bars and blues clubs.

You can bet Las Vegas will be jumping this St. Patrick's Day and the place to be in Sin City is Fremont Street. The six-block entertainment district will host the five-day ShamROCK celebration from March 13-17 featuring a stellar lineup of 20 bands and a whopping 50 hours of free, live music. If that isn't enough, you can always head to The Strip.

New Orleans isn't just for Mardi Gras. The Big Easy puts on quite the party for St. Patrick's Day also, celebrating with a week and a half's worth of festivities. You'll find parades and lively block parties throughout the city but you certainly won't want to miss the action on iconic Bourbon Street in the French Quarter.

St. Patrick's Day coincides with the annual South by Southwest film, media and music festivals and conferences in Austin so visitors can expect plenty of crowds this time of year. Nonetheless, that means revelers are guaranteed to be met with a ton of energy on historic Sixth Street, which is lined with bars offering awesome live music and Irish classics like at B.D. Riley's Irish Pub.

Miami Beach is always down for a party and famous Ocean Drive is the perfect place to drop your anchor this St. Patrick's Day. Visitors to this inviting oceanfront strip will have plenty of rocking bars and clubs to choose from, including an Irish favorite in Finnegan's Way.

Savannah, Georgia's charming River Street also hosts a one-of-a-kind St. Patrick's Day experience every March and 2020 will be no different. Set along the scenic Savannah River, this bustling strip features numerous bars where green-clad partiers can grab a drink and take part in the annual St. Patrick's Day Festival featuring live music and vendors selling all sorts of goodies.

Boasting strong Irish heritage, South Boston or "Southie" is the place to be in New England on St. Patrick's Day weekend and while there isn't one street that's achieved icon status, visitors can't go wrong bouncing from establishment to establishment on West Broadway, E 8th Street or Dorchester Street.

The Windy City is another that goes all out for St. Patrick's Day, even going so far as to dye the Chicago River green. Chicago hosts too many Irish-themed parties to count this time of year in addition to a handful of bar crawls, including the St. Paddy's Day River Crawl that'll allow revelers to check out the festive waterway while they enjoy seasonal drinks at Chicago favorites like Moe's Cantina and Old Crow.

The St. Patrick's Day Parade is the premier event in New York City on March 17. The yearly celebration takes place on the city's iconic Fifth Avenue, lasting several hours and culminating with visitors and locals alike flooding the city's beloved Irish pubs and restaurants.

The annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Philadelphia is the nation's second-oldest behind only New York City. Prior to that, visitors to the City of Brotherly Love can participate in the fifth annual St. Patrick's Day Bar Crawl. Last year's event featured more than 8,000 participants and 20-plus bars throughout Old City, Midtown and Center City.
