Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, Disney's ambitious 14-acre land that promises the most immersive theme park experience ever created, is officially open at Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World. Very nearly a carbon copy of Disneyland's version, which opened on May 31, the Floridian Batuu delivers the same breathtaking visuals (though with a few color-palette tweaks) and bucket-list Star Wars experiences.

From piloting the Millennium Falcon to building your own lightsaber or droid to bellying up to the Bar at Oga's Cantina, you can do it all here. Here, we break down the best ways to maximize your experience at Walt Disney World's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.

The best way to ensure you get to access the land and do everything you want to during your visit to Batuu is to utilize the reservation system currently offered for the three most popular experiences (excluding Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run, which remains standby only for the time being). These are Oga's Cantina, Savi's Workshop-Handbuilt Lightsabers, and Droid Depot. All can be booked 180 days in advance and allow you to secure your entry to the land one hour before the start time of your experience even if the land is otherwise at capacity.

From now until Nov. 2, Disney's Hollywood Studios is offering Extra, Extra Magic Hours to guests staying at official Walt Disney World Resorts. This means you can enter the park at 6:00 am, a whopping three hours before official park opening. So set your alarms and aim to be at the gates by 5:00 am to maximize your chances of experiencing everything you hope to in Galaxy's Edge.

It might seem crazy to waste any time in this breathtaking land staring at your phone, but if you don't spend some time on the Play Disney Parks app, you'll miss out on many of the incredible hidden details in Galaxy's Edge. From solving puzzles to activating droids to firing up the Millennium Falcon to engaging with others guests as part of an epic battle between the Resistance and First Order, the Play Disney Parks app really brings this land to life in ways you'd never discover on your own. So make sure you have it loaded on your phone before you go!

If you're not fluent in Aurebesh, the Play Disney Parks app will also help you find your way around Batuu. Many signs throughout the land are in Aurebesh rather than English, so you can have fun using the translate function to figure out what's behind all of those mysterious doors.

You can also use the Play Disney Parks app to scan mysterious cases of cargo to see what the Resistance or First Order may be hiding inside. Just look for the QR code and scan using your "datapad" (that's Batuuese for phone).

I can't stress this one enough: Mobile Order is the best thing to happen to Disney quick-service dining. Period. Order from your phone, skip the line, pick up your food, and you're eating before you'd even get to the front of the queue. You can even mobile order Blue Milk from the Milk Stand! Note: Like FastPass for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Mobile Order is temporarily unavailable until crowds calm down a bit. It's already available at Disneyland though and is absolutely magical, so keep checking your My Disney Experience app for availability.

You could spend days in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in its current state and not discover everything that's hiding in plain sight in this land. But, based on everything we've been told and after getting a sneak peek at a few parts of Rise of the Resistance, the land's epic second attraction that opens December 5 at Walt Disney World, it's safe to say that you're really only scratching the surface of the complete experience until this ride is open.

You can't do Galaxy's Edge right without taking a spin in the Millennium Falcon. The only attraction currently open, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run puts you in the cockpit of the famed ship in the position of pilot, gunner or engineer.

When you ride Smugglers Run, a cast member will assign you your position. If you only get to ride the attraction once, cross your fingers for the pilot role. If you want to do more maneuvering, the left pilot is a good bet, but if you've always dreamed of kicking it into hyperdrive, hope you get that right pilot position. If you're prone to motion sickness, the further back you sit, the better off you'll be, so engineer may be the best position for you. If you have multiple chances to ride, you can always try to trade with other riders for a different position every time for maximum variety.

While you're waiting for your turn to enter the cockpit, hand over your camera and slide up to the dejarik table for a must-have photo op.

Concealed throughout the Millennium Falcon's interior are numerous porg nests. See how many you can spot.

Just off the main chamber of the Falcon where you'll wait to enter the cockpit, see if you can find the spot where Han and Leia shared their first kiss. Hint: The XO is a dead giveaway.

Inspired by the souks of the Middle East, the Marketplace is your go-to destination for Jedi apparel, exotic creatures, artisan toys, and Black Spire Outpost Souvenirs.

We've spent a lot of time in both lands and the merch is in a constant cycle of sold out/available/sold out. If you're headed to Walt Disney World in the early days and have your heart set on something, don't plan to come back-just buy it! We've already heard that droid-carrying bags from Droid Depot have sold out and been restocked, and if Disneyland is any indication, there's a good chance kyber crystals, legacy lightsabers, and clothing from Black Spire Outfitters will all be hot commodities.

Rise of the Resistance may not be open yet, but there are still things to do in Resistance Forest. Seek out A-Wing and X-Wing ships stashed out of the sight of the First Order. If you're hoping to find Rey or Chewie, they often hang out in this area, along with PhotoPass photographers who can help you capture the perfect shot in front of those iconic ships.

One of the biggest differences between Disneyland's and Walt Disney's World's lands is that alcohol is served outside of Oga's Cantina, which is the only place in all of Disneyland Park where you can get an alcoholic beverage. So if you need a little something to take the edge off the crowds, order your Blue Milk with rum, Green Milk with tequila or a beer from Ronto Roasters or Docking Bay 7.

Ronto Roasters is your best bet for a quick but filling meal. Grab a Ronto Wrap, grilled pork sausage and roasted pork wrapped in a pita with peppercorn sauce and tangy slaw. Don't forget to check out the pitmaster droid manning the spit.

Oga's Cantina is one of the most vibrant, immersive spots in the land. Sip a Bespin Fizz or a Blue Bantha while DJ Rex churns out Modal Nodes classics and new jams. Reservations are available 180 days in advance of your visit and are highly recommended.

Fans of the collectible tiki mugs from Trader Sam's are in trouble at Oga's Cantina, where they will regularly unveil new collector's edition Star Wars tiki mugs. Just check the bottom of the mug to see what edition they're on.

The main quick-service location in Galaxy's Edge, Docking Bay 7 has a bit of a Satu'li Canteen vibe. They serve up familiar foods in exotic ways that make them palatable to the average American while feeling totally out of this world at the same time. Our favorites include the Felucian Garden Spread, the Roasted Endorian Tip-Yip Salad, and the Braised Shaak Roast. To find the restaurant just look for the ship docked on top.

There are really only two snack options on Batuu, popcorn from Kat Saka's Kettle and the Nuna Turkey Jerky from Ronto Roasters. If you're visiting Batuu with kids, popcorn is probably your best bet. But beware: while the purple tastes a bit like Trix or Fruit Loops, the red one has a subtle spice to it that some kiddos may not like.

Disney popcorn bucket collectors will want to get their hands on this awesome collectible mouse droid popcorn bucket. But be warned: unlike other souvenir buckets throughout Walt Disney World, this one isn't refillable.
