For travelers looking to hit the rails this summer, Amtrak
unveiled a new sale offering at least 25 percent off Flex fare prices.
Dubbed the Amtrak Northeast Summer Sale, travelers can book through
Thursday, June 20, for travel between Friday, June 28 and Monday, September 2, for
Northeast Regional Coach Class and Acela Business Class to select cities.
With no promotional code required and no blackout dates, the
sale applies to holiday summer travel for July Fourth and Labor Day weekends. Some
of the Northeast Regional Coach Class deals include service between New York City
and Philadelphia for $26 each way, and Boston and NYC for $42 each way.
As for Acela Business Class, passengers can book travel
between Philadelphia and Washington D.C. for as low as $65, as well as Boston
and New Haven for as little as $72.
The Amtrak Northeast Summer Sale offers at least 25 percent
off the visible Flex fare price and can be combined with Amtrak*s everyday
discounts, including the 50 percent off Child*s Fare.?
Earlier this week, Amtrak announced a limited-time offer for
its Amtrak
Guest Rewards Preferred Mastercard. From June 12 to July 24, new
cardholders can earn 30,000 bonus points, a 50 percent increase compared to the
standard offer.
