Cunard is launching new live shows at sea this year, with performances ranging from classic musicals to high-flying circus acrobatics.
The cruise line, which recently opened bookings for its 2025 Alaska season, shared new details about its upcoming lineup of onboard entertainment, collectively called Cunard Showcases. The company developed the program in partnership with award-winning theater producers, directors, writers, choreographers and performers.
Highlights of the new offerings include Cluedo! The Interactive Game, which invites guests aboard Queen Mary 2 to step back in time to help solve a 1930s mystery. Members of the Circa Contemporary Circus will spend six weeks on Queen Elizabeth, where they will perform, lead workshops and chat with cruisers during question-and-answer sessions.
Actors will perform Shakespeares Twelfth Night on Queen Mary 2, while musical theater pros will put on Rodgers & Hammerstein's "South Pacific on Queen Elizabeth.
Other performances include: Kings of the Boardwalk, Opera Cocktail, Gulliver, "Watson: The Final Problem" and "Discovering Antarctica: Heroic Tales of Shackleton, Crean and Scott."
