A massive sculpture of Spider-Man and his Spider-Bats will adorn the stern of Disney Destiny, marking the first time a Marvel character has been featured on a Disney Cruise Line ship.
The company plans to integrate other Marvel stories and characters throughout the 144,000-gross-ton ship, in line with the vessels heroes and villains theme.?
Disney Destiny is scheduled to debut next year. All this week, Disney Cruise Line has been sharing new details about the highly anticipated ship. Earlier revelations include the home port (Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida), as well as intel on the staterooms, dining venues, bars and activities. Disney Destiny is scheduled to set sail in November 2025 and will offer 4- and 5-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean. Bookings open September 12.

Were honoring some of our classic heroes like Black Panther and Spider-Man on board, and were celebrating the larger-than-life personalities of the Avengers as inspiration for one-of-a-kind venues. This will be a must-do for all True Believers.
The Marvel Universe will be represented throughout the 4,000-guest vessel. The Grand Hallthe ships central gathering areawill feature iconography and colors from the Black Panther films. Designers took inspiration from Black Panther costumes, including the banded armor and stacked jewelry found in Wakanda, to create metalwork-encrusted pillars. The space will also feature a light fixture inspired by Vibranium, the rare metallic ore in Wakanda.
A statue of TChalla, the Black Panther: King of Wakanda will keep watch over the area, and performers will put on shows on the Grand Hall stage.
Next to the Grand Hall on decks four and five, guests will find Saga, a two-story hub for family activities during the day and adult-exclusive entertainment at night. Its dramatic design is also inspired by Wakanda.
Travelers will also be able to relax in the Sanctum, a centrally located lounge inspired by Doctor Strange featuring coffee and cocktails.
The ship will also have a one-of-a-kind penthouse tower suite with a sleek, industrial design inspired by Iron Man. The suite will be located in the ships forward funnel and will have nearly 2,000 square feet of living space. Up to eight guests can sleep comfortably, as well as enjoy perks like a private ensuite elevator and a full kitchen.
The Destiny Tower Suite is just one of the concierge-level accommodations that will be available to guests booked on the new ship. Travelers will have access to a private sun deck and a concierge lounge thats decorated with art pieces honoring The Avengers.
Though many spaces and features are exclusive to Disney Destiny, the ship does incorporate some fan-favorites from other Disney ships. Guests whove sailed aboard Disney Wish will recognize Worlds of Marvel, the Marvel-themed dining experience starring Rocket and Groot from the Guardians of the Galaxy films.
Disney Destiny will also have an Oceaneer Club for kids ages 3 to 10. The space will feature the Marvel Super Hero Academy, a high-tech Avengers headquarters where young recruits are trained to be the next generation of super heroes alongside some of their favorite Avengers, according to the cruise line.
