Starting this fall, HX (formerly Hurtigruten Expeditions) will begin offering all-inclusive expedition cruises, the company announced today.
HX plans to roll out the all-inclusive offering across its entire portfolio by November. As part of a phased approach, it will start with voyages departing for Antarctica and the Galapagos in October, then continue with cruises to other destinations.
The forthcoming all-inclusive trips are a direct response to feedback from travelers and travel advisors, says Alex Dalemere-White, the brands chief commercial officer. HXs overarching goal is to streamline the product so that its easier for travel advisors to sell.
Were confident that by including so many elements as standard in the price, we can simplify life onboard and enhance our trade-friendly focus, Delamere-White adds.
The company also hopes the all-inclusive offering will resonate with guests, allowing them to focus their energy on the destination and the experience, rather than worrying about what they do and dont want to pay for.?
Moving forward, HX cruise fares will now include all daily expeditions and activities; all dining; beer, wine, spirits and cocktails; coffee, tea and soft drinks; Wi-Fi; gratuities; access to the onboard Science Center and science activities; access to the fitness room, sauna and hot tubs; professional photos taken by an onboard photographer; and take-home expedition gear and a reusable water bottle.?
We want our guests to fully embrace being curious travelers when theyre with us, says Delamere-White. By making things as easy as possible, they can focus on exploring remote parts of the world and learning from our expert team. We believe adventure should be all-inclusive, which is why our daily expeditions, talks and access to the science center come at no extra cost, alongside delicious food and drink.
