HX (formerly Hurtigruten Expeditions) has announced its line-up of cruises for 2026-27, which will be the companys 130th season.
The line will offer new itineraries in Antarctica, Alaska, Greenland, Norway and the Galpagos Islands.
Guests who book by November 11 can enjoy a lower deposit of 15 percent on select HX voyages from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027. HX loyalty members can also save an additional 5 percent off all 2026-27 sailings.
These are the best destinations done better than ever, says Alex McNeil, the companys chief expedition officer. "We're building on over a century of maritime expertise by enhancing local partnerships and community-focused experiences, ensuring a lasting, positive impact wherever we go."
Travelers hoping to catch a glimpse of the August 12, 2026, total solar eclipse can watch the skyward spectacle from the remote Arctic with HX. The company will offer a Solar Eclipse Expedition itinerary that visits Svalbard, Greenland and Iceland.
In addition, starting in January 2026, HX will offer a 7-night Ultimate Norway itinerary that? visits the Lyngen Alps, Lofoten Islands, Vester?len and Senja. As travelers experience polar nights and the aurora borealis above the Arctic Circle, theyll also be learning to embrace friluftsliv, a Norwegian concept that means free air life. In late 2026, the company will also offer an Ultimate Norway at Christmas voyage.
In addition, HX will explore Alaskas Inside Passage on new cruises: the 9-night Fjords of the Great Land itinerary and the 12-night Where the Mountains Meet the Sea voyage.?
The line is also offering a new, 9-day Explorers Route voyage to explore the Antarctic Peninsula. Travelers will have an opportunity to visit destinations like South Shetland Islands, Antarctic Sound, Weddell Sea, Gerlache Strait and Penola Strait with HX, which is the largest operator in Antarctica.?
Guests in the United Kingdom and Germany can take advantage of new Europe and Svalbard cruises departing from Dover and Hamburg in the spring of 2027. The cruises will visit remote destinations such as the Channel Islands, the Isles of Scilly, the Dutch coastal town of Harlingen and Germanys Heligoland Island. On the Svalbard itineraries, travelers will explore Norway's fjords before heading to the Arctic.
