MSC Cruises is sharing more details about its newest vessel, MSC World America.
Today, the cruise line unveiled The Harbour, an outdoor venue designed for familiesthe first of its kind in the MSC fleet.
The Harbour will be located on the open-top deck in the Family Aventure district, which is one of seven distinct districts onboard. It will feature a water park, a themed playground, a rock climbing wall, comfortable seating, a ropes course, an 11-story dry slide, grab-and-go food options and Cliffhanger, a thrilling over-water swing ride. Musicians will also offer live performances at The Harbour.

Called The Harbour Aquapark, the waterpark will feature a slide with a? 90-degree vertical drop, a raft slide featuring virtual reality technology and dueling body slides. The stainless steel dry slide, Jaw Drop @ The Spiral, will take guests on a journey through the World Promenade, alternating between light and dark segments.
The high ropes course will offer two levels spanning 6,210 square feet. It will include two Sky Rails that are similar to a zip line. The themed playground, meanwhile, will draw inspiration from the iconic lighthouse at Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, the cruise lines private island in the Bahamas.?

The 6,762-guest ship, which is slated to debut from Miami in April 2025, will have lots of other family-friendly spaces and amenities for guests to enjoy onboard. For example, it will have the largest Doremiland kids area in the entire MSC Cruises fleet. Fans of Lego will also be able to participate in new experiences like a master builder area, a Lego-themed game show and the first Lego parade at sea.?
