Oceania Cruises announced its overhauled Riviera ship would
sail her first season in Alaska in the summer of 2025.
The 1,250-guest vessel will venture into iconic Alaska ports
of call, including Ketchikan, Sitka, Kodiak, and the Hubbard Glacier, sailing itineraries
ranging from seven to 12 days.
Passengers will have more opportunities to discover Alaskas
natural wonders and local culture with nearly 300 excursion choices, and the
brands value promise?simply MORE, which includes a shore excursion credit of up to
$1,600.
Oceanias simply MORE option also includes free
roundtrip airfare; airport transfers; Champagne, wine and more; gourmet
specialty dining and unlimited Wi-Fi.
The decision to elevate our presence in the Alaska region
was easy, Oceania President Frank A. Del Rio said. This fascinating
destination has always been a firm favorite with our well-traveled guests, who
are constantly wanting to explore remote, wondrous and truly off-the-beaten-track
destinations.
Sailing on board Riviera is the ultimate way to explore
this rugged state, while enjoying her distinctive residential luxury, The
Finest Cuisine at Sea and expertly curated travel experiences, Del Rio continued.
The re-inspired Riviera boasts staterooms measuring 291
square feet, and all categories have been reimagined with furnishings, design
touches and expanded showers. The ship will carry 800 officers and crew
members, providing guests with unparalleled service.
In Alaska, travelers can experience wildlife encounters,
stunning views, a new series of Culinary Discovery Tours, local artisans, tribal
history lessons, multi-day Denali National Park adventures and pre- and
post-cruise Alaska Land Programs.
