Royal Caribbean has unveiled new details about dining aboard Utopia of the Seas, its new vessel slated to debut in July.
The 5,668-guest vessel, which is under construction at the Chantiers de lAtlantique shipyard in Saint-Nazaire, France, will offer many familiar Royal Caribbean stapleslike The Mason Jar Southern Restaurant & Bar and Chops Grilleplus a few new eateries. ?
Several dining concepts will be making their debut aboard the ship, including Royal Railway C Utopia Station, a high-tech, immersive experience.
Royal Caribbean guests will start with pre-dinner drinks on a railway platform. Then, at the sound of a train whistle, theyll clamber aboard the trains dining car for dinner. As they dine, theyll be transported to any place and time, from Americas Wild West to far-off destinations across the globe, all without leaving the ship, according to the cruise line.
Other new spots on Utopia of the Seas include The Spare Tire, a poolside food truck offering pulled pork sandwiches, cheeseburger flatbread, daily rotating desserts and other quick bites, and Izumi in the Park, a new pickup window in Central Park offering sushi, Japanese-inspired street food and sweets.
Izumi, an existing Royal Caribbean restaurant, is being reimagined for Utopia, with a new multi-course omakase-inspired private dining experience paired with sake cocktails, al fresco dining and more.?
