Club Med, the pioneer of the all-inclusive concept has
announced several developments across its international portfolio which
includes the development of Club
Meds first resort in the Gulf States, renovations at Club Med Cancun and Club
Med Punta Cana, a partnership with yoga instructor Jonah Kest and CSR
achievements.
Club Med Cancun Renovations
Club
Med Cancuns renovations over the next year include the main pool and deck
area transformed into an expansive infinity pool bordering a natural lagoon and
a new beach and pool bar steps away from the beach.
As part of ongoing renovations, select Deluxe Rooms near the
beach bar and Sports & Wellness Island will be upgraded with a sophisticated
design combining the essence of Mayan Culture with furnishings and private
balconies that evoke the serene beauty of the sea and lagoon. Renovations are
scheduled to be completed by July 2025.
The Family Oasis will be enhanced with new features
including a Mayan-themed Splash Park, Water Park, Mini Pool and Playground, a Fun
Zone and Mini Cinema. The Childrens Club will be relocated next to the
Aguamarina family oceanfront rooms and a Baby Club Med will be introduced.
Club Med Punta Cana Renovations
North Americas family flagship resort Club Med Punta Cana
will open a splash park in December 2024 incorporating exhilarating water
slides, splash zones and interactive water features. Along with the splash
park, guests can enjoy over 20 activities such as trapeze, kayaking and
pickleball.
Recent property renovations also include all-new family
rooms, a wedding venue, a beauty salon and a refreshed dining experience at Caribbean
restaurant Hispaniola.
Club Med Musandam Oman Opening
As the Gulf States first property, Club Med Musandam is a
luxurious beach resort set to open in 2028.
The 300-room Exclusive Collection resort overlooking the
Persian Gulf and panoramic Hajar Mountains will incorporate the culture of Oman
in its design, entertainment and food and beverage options. Guests will enjoy
gourmet dining, childrens clubs, wellness experiences, an adults-only area,
spa and a variety of land and water sports.
Yoga Partnership with Jonah Kest
Club Med has launched a new partnership with world-renowned
yoga instructor Jonah Kest, the Yoga Ambassador across the brands North
American and Caribbean resorts.
Born into a yoga legacy, Kest is renowned for his inspiring
classes and collaborations with brands such as Nike and Netflix. His Club Med
contributions will include developing guest yoga programs, teaching in-person
classes at select resorts and transformative wellness workshops.
Happy to Care Sustainability Achievements (CSR)
Club Med brands key initiatives in sustainability efforts and
responsible tourism include:
- Worldwide Snack, where local school children
come for meals and activities at its North American resorts.
- Bye Bye Plastics Program commits to minimizing single-use
plastics in its resorts by providing glass refillable water bottles in rooms.
- Recycled Uniforms represents the switch to 100
percent recycled and crafted Club Med uniforms from plastic bottles.
- World Ocean Day includes several conservation
programs focusing on coral nurseries, sea turtles, ocean preservation and more.
- Take Action program where Club Med staff and
guests lead eco-friendly efforts through beach and mountain cleanups.
- BREEAM Certification at Club Med La Rosires Exclusive
Collection.
