On May 20, it was announced that three new hotel brandsInterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, and Hotel Indigowould join the IHG lineup in Turks & Caicos.
The just-announced hotels will open in 2027 on the North Coast of?Turks & Caicos?in Grace Bay. When opened, they will mark the beginning of IHG's presence in the Caribbean territory.?
Currently, the hotels are being developed in partnership with Molo Hotel Group and Lighthouse Hotel Management and designed by Glasgow-based architecture and interior design studio Ica, Turks & Caicos-based Conservative Architecture, and Miami-based architecture firm EDSA.?

What the Project Has Planned?
The three new hotels are planned to each have their own unique flare and distinct identities.?
At the InterContinental Turks & Caicos, a beachfront seven-story all-suite property, guests can enjoy culturally rich experiences as well as 59 spacious rooms offering panoramic ocean vistas. The hotel also has a ground-floor restaurant and bar, an outdoor pool, an on-site fitness center, and a Club InterContinental lounge.
Next to the InterContinental is the Hotel Indigo Turks & Caicos, a 56-room resort that aims to be The World's Neighborhood Hotel.?
From its design, decor, and fare, the hotel emulates the laid-back atmosphere of the surrounding area and includes an on-site restaurant, lobby bar, coffee shop, outdoor pool, and fitness room.
Last but not least is the Kimpton Turks & Caicos, a 192-room pet-friendly shoreline hotel that features three outdoor pools, a spa, a fitness center, a beachfront restaurant, rooftop and poolside bars, an ice cream and coffee parlor, a juice bar, a ground-floor restaurant, and a lobby bar.?
The Kimpton also offers perks like morning coffee and tea, evening social hour, the "Forgot It? We've Got It!" amenity program, complimentary bicycles, and in-room yoga mats.
