The Federal Aviation Administration predicts that June 27 will be the years busiest travel day yet, with 53,677 scheduled flights. Delta Air Lines is scheduled to fly 5.8 million passengers from June 28 to July 7 this year.?

The issues with Boeing have pretty much been centered on the MAX, and we do not fly the MAX. And were pretty well split between Boeing and Airbus. Years ago we used to be all Boeing, but weve been taking, the last couple of years, exclusively Airbus product, explained Bastian. Nothing against Boeing, we decided we liked the Airbus product well before the issues of the MAX ever arose.
Im 100 percent confident in the Boeing fleet that we fly we fly over 500 Boeing planes, thousands of times, every day. We know the product really well. With the new generation aircraft, the MAX, the 787, there have been significant sourcing issues, manufacturing issues. Were waiting until were confident that everything is sorted out around the MAX before we consider bringing one of those onto our product.?
