Not many countries can be explored thoroughly in just two weeks, which makes Vietnam unique. Get an in-depth appreciation of its vibrant culture and stunning scenery on a jam-packed itinerary as suggested by Nicole Canning, writing for the Huffington Post.
Canning suggests beginning in Ho Chi Minh City.
"Vietnam's capital city is vibrant, buzzing and you'll have a real sense of Asian city life just walking down these beautiful streets that still have touch of colonial France about them," she writes.
Next stop is Nha Trang via night train.
"Nha Trang has a relaxed, hippy beach town vibe that you'll love as soon as you step off the night train at dawn," Canning notes.
She also recommends a number of activities such as snorkeling, visiting a waterpark and more.

Head to Hoi An to visit its historic UNESCO-protected old town before heading to Halong Bay, Hanoi, and Sapa all via overnight trains.
"Hanoi is loud, hot and it's constantly alive with people. Mopeds constantly whiz by with an alarming amount of passengers. Be ready to fell the buzz of activity," writes Canning.
